Travel Makes Me Happy
I have always enjoyed traveling and last week I got back from an amazing trip to Barcelona where I attended a conference and did some exploring. Wandering down old streets looking at unique architecture, feeling the sunshine and warm ocean breeze, smelling the bakery, hearing the city noises, all touched my heart and made me smile. Despite a missed connection, staying overnight in Paris (didn't see much at the airport hotel), and waiting in lots of long lines, I had a great time. It doesn't always have to go smoothly or be what you expected, to be a great trip.
And then I saw this video and now I know why travel makes me happy.
