Checklist

A perfect trip starts with a good plan, tried and true travel supplies and travel health insurance that fits your trip and activities.

Your Checklist for a Perfect Trip

Travel involves exposure to many situations that are very different than those in the US: health and hygiene, food and water, personal safety, infectious disease and risks posed by a colorful array of critters.  Now’s the time to get your travel supplies and purchase travel health insurance. We design a personalized travel plan that you will receive at your visits to empower you with the knowledge you need for a safe and healthy journey. Your customized travel plan will include information on, but not limited to, the following:

Immunizations

Protect yourself from illnesses. Protect vulnerable populations you may come in contact with when you travel and don’t bring back home any illnesses that could endanger your family or your community. Get your travel vaccines 2 or more weeks before you go for the best coverage. Last minute travel? Call us, we can still help. Yellow fever vaccine must be given at least 10 days before departure.

Insects

It is important to understand the insect issues specific to your travel itinerary. There can be vast differences between urban and rural areas in the same province. Your travel plan will include prevention and treatment options.
